Kevin Welch's poetic songs paint pictures of real people--people you know, people you've seen--so clearly that you realize quickly he's a keen observer of the human experience. His songs have an almost film-like quality in their vision and beauty.
Kevin is well know and well loved in our area. He is one of the performers that everyone wants us to bring back to Eureka House concerts.
On Jonathan Byrd:
"One of the 50 most significant songwriters of the past 50 years." - Rich Warren, Chicago Tribune blog
On Corin Raymond:
Corin Raymond is a troubadour in the style of Johnny Cash who draws comparisons to John Prine.
The Eureka House, a non-profit concert series, began in the fall of 2004. It arose out of a love of good music and songwriting. We also have a venue, the Eureka Springs Unitarian Universalist Church, which is intimate and possesses fabulous acoustics. We decided to do mid-week bookings so top flight performers would be able to stop over in Eureka Springs on their way to bigger venues. Over the years two things have happened: we have developed a knowledgeable and appreciative audience for good performance and songwriting; and, our reputation has grown to where today performers of renown seek us out. They want to come to Eureka Springs House Concerts and see what the buzz is all about.
We seek to present good music year after year plus be faithful to our motto: "We'll have you home and by 10:00 PM."
