These two are both outstanding solo performers in their own right. Carrie on stage with her dreadnaught guitar and her sundress singing her songs with an infectious energy and every ounce of her will and Danny with his strong clear soul stirring voice, precise emotive guitar and captivating songs. When you put these two together they become so much more.
I have to think this will be a great show.
John Elliott is a force to be reckoned with. Endearing, soulful and irreverent, Elliott's songs are as eclectic as his view of the world. A superb singer and player it is John's songs take make him special. He uses words as punctuation, as paint, as pieces of a puzzle that will never fit together. He captures that essence of being human that we feel but can't ever express.
"Jon Vezner writes about the 'details,' the details of our hearts and feelings. His gift is in speaking to these ordinary things which connect us to one another, and in recognizing their simple beauty, he transforms them into something extraordinary." - Mary-Chapin Carpenter

The Eureka House, a non-profit concert series, began in the fall of 2004. It arose out of a love of good music and songwriting. We also have a venue, the Eureka Springs Unitarian Universalist Church, which is intimate and possesses fabulous acoustics. We decided to do mid-week bookings so top flight performers would be able to stop over in Eureka Springs on their way to bigger venues. Over the years two things have happened: we have developed a knowledgeable and appreciative audience for good performance and songwriting; and, our reputation has grown to where today performers of renown seek us out. They want to come to Eureka Springs House Concerts and see what the buzz is all about.
We seek to present good music year after year plus be faithful to our motto: "We'll have you home and by 10:00 PM."
